Italian police take down Mafia Boss

The police in Sicily is a blow against the "Cosa Nostra succeeded": On Sunday afternoon, a Mafia boss who was 15 years on the run, was arrested.
The 54-year-old Mimmo Raccuglia was number two of the Sicilian Mafia, told investigators in Palermo. He had been surprised at his apartment in Calatafimi at Trapani.
Raccuglia have never tried to flee across the terrace, but the police had surrounded the house, they said. The mobster was conducted on the list of wanted criminals by the Italian Ministry of Interior among the 25 most dangerous.
Raccuglia must be a life sentence to settle for, inter alia, for the murder of 13-year-old Giuseppe Di Matteo. The boy was the son of a repentant Mafia member and 1996 were killed in revenge. His body was never found, because the Mafia killer's body had been dissolved in acid.
The Italian Interior Minister Roberto Maroni described the arrest as "the hardest blow to the Cosa Nostra in the past few years."
